The next day we went to see Mickey first thing. Oliver was the one who really wanted to see him, but James was so excited! It was cute to see him give Mickey a high five.
Our sweet kids with Mickey!
Buzz Lightyear is always a fun ride. The kids like to shoot at Zurg.
Marion loved It’s a Small World and really all the rides. There were always fun things to see. She is at a really fun age to go to Disney World and I’m glad we had the chance to take her.
Happy baby!
Marion loved the carousel, but she sure wasn’t going to smile for the camera!
Oliver was all smiles, pretty much all the time at Disney World! He had a great time.
James also loved the carousel!
Elora was a fan of the pirate merchandise and picked out quite a few items that she wanted to take home. She was a little sad to put it all back, but I took some pics so that sometime I can make some nice pirate clothes for them to wear.
For our second day at the Magic Kingdom, we let the kids pick what they wanted to do. Oliver wanted Aladdin’s Magic Carpet and Pirates of the Caribbean again.
Of all things Elora wanted Splash Mountain. She had been too scared the day before, and since she said she really wanted to do it we decided to give it a go. Here is our awesome picture. Elora was just a little scared during the drop. Oliver said it was awesome.
We headed over to the animal kingdom next. I love it there – it is like a really awesome zoo.
There is also a dinosaur section and we went on this dinosaur ride. Oliver loved it, Elora said it was “too loud, too bumpy, too dark, too scary”.
We went to Epcot one day and happened upon Winnie the Pooh in the England shop – Marion ran into his arms and just hugged him and didn’t let go! But we didn’t have the camera. So when we found out that he was at the Animal Kingdom, we waited in line to see him. Marion was so happy. She brought her little Winnie the Pooh toy with her and got to hug them both. That is a happy little girl.
Eeyore was there too. Marion loves Winnie the Pooh and all the characters from the Hundred Acre Woods.
And don’t let the big kids fool you. They also love Winnie the Pooh and his friends and were very excited to meet them. This was seriously the best part of the whole trip.
We went around the animal paths after that and got to see a lot of animals.
We also took a little safari ride which was really neat, because the animals were really close to the bus.
The kids really loved the bus ride.
Marion found a lizard that she liked and didn’t want to leave it.
There was a band playing in one part of the park and Marion danced and danced around me. She had such a great day!
I am so grateful we got to go to Florida while Chris was away and spend time with him. The kids still talk about that trip and how much they loved it. We got to play with Daddy a lot and it was so fun. Thanks Daddy for the great memories!
