Ice Cream or Frozen Dairy Dessert?

My dad has a waffle cone maker, so we decided to try it out one evening. The cones turned out super yummy, and Chris is sold on this awesome kitchen gadget. Next time we are going to try and make the chocolate waffle cones, and dad even bought some dipping chocolate so we can do a better job making chocolate dipped cones.
As we studied our ice cream flavors, we noticed something strange. This ice cream says it is “Frozen Dairy Dessert”. What?!? It is not even real ice cream? So we tried to figure out the difference. We are still not exactly sure, but you know how some ice cream has about 40 ingredients on the label, usually including whey, and a lot of stabilizers like xanthan gum and stuff like that? Those ones are Frozen Dairy Dessert.
The only one in the freezer (Quite a feat since there were at least 10 flavors and 3 brands in there) that is actually ice cream? Breyers all natural. You know, the ones who used to have the commercials with people trying to read ice cream labels.
