There was a holiday about the Austrian military, and the military set up tanks, boats, helicopters, and more right in front of the Burgtheater. The kids were really amazed to see all the equipment up close.
They were a little disappointed that they did not get to climb on the tanks, but they did get balloons, so that was pretty awesome!
We got to sit on the big military boat, sit inside one of the cars and try to maneuver the guns on the roof, and see the inside of the helicopter. The kids liked looking at everything, and they especially enjoyed the big pretzels we bought from one of the food vendors.
Elora got to try on the riot gear. She said it was really heavy. It was an interesting experience to get to see the Austrian Military with all their displays and a nice way to spend a sunny morning before heading to the park.
