Chris heard about a restaurant where your food is served by a roller coaster, and we decided something that cool needed to be checked out in person!
The restaurant is at the Prater, our favorite amusement park. We headed over and rode the bumper cars, then went to the restaurant where we got to take pictures in a bigger version of the roller coaster cars that deliver your food.
The food is ordered by using an ipad placed on a sensor at the table. The sensor tells the system where you are sitting. Then robots prepare your food, load it onto the rollar coaster, and your number blinks when your food comes down the track. Pretty cool system, and we were lucky enough to sit where you could see the robots above you loading your food onto the roller coaster.
The food is not that good and it is a bit expensive, but the kids had a great time. They thought the roller coaster and the robots were so cool. It was a super fun night. It would have been even better if the food was higher quality.
It was worth visiting mostly because it got us to the Prater where we could enjoy a couple rides and fun photo spot before heading home!
