Zion Junior Rangers

My kids love Zion National Park. I took them there to earn their Junior Ranger badges. There is a little activity book they have to complete. Some have information about geology, some are used to mark all the animals spotted on your visit, another activity teaches the kids to recognize animal droppings, one talks about the Native Americans who lived in the area. It is really a neat program and can be done in your own time while enjoying the park.

We saw a lot of animals during our visit. If you look in the background, there is a deer hiding in the bushes. The kids were so excited to be so close to a deer. We usually do not see them while out hiking.

We stopped to enjoy snacks and tree climbing near the lodge. The kids took some time filling out their Junior Ranger books and exploring the trees. It was a beautiful afternoon to visit the park.
We are so blessed to live near this beautiful place! We really need to spend more time here at Zion.
