Legoland, Day 2!

Since Legoland was so awesome, we went back for more another day. The kids really had a blast. James loves farmers, tractors, and legos, so he was a big fan of the Florida Farm to Food exhibit.

Elora enjoyed trying to milk the cow. She is still trying to talk me into getting a cow. Not happening.

Oliver is our roller coaster man. We saw that the line for the roller coaster was labeled as having a 90 minute wait so we were not going to go on it. Then I noticed the lack of people so we decided to walk into the ride and we walked right on (after informing the ride operators that their wait time sign was quite inaccurate!) This ride is called the Dragon and Oliver LOVES it.

This ride is so cute and fun. Only bummer is that you have to be four years old and Marion missed the mark by a couple weeks. The ride operator wouldn’t budge and let her on, poor thing. But the big kids loved riding the horses.

Marion got to go on this ride with Grampy instead. I think Grampy felt like he was going to throw up, but Marion had a GREAT time.

We went and watched a lego fireman show, and the kids really liked that one.

Especially when we all got soaked by the fire hose. After the show Marion noticed that there was a worm on the stage so she ran up to get it and looked around for some dirt to put it in. She noticed a bush across the stage so she ran across to put the worm in a nice safe place and the whole cast of the show clapped for her and told her she was a hero for saving the worm.

Next we headed over to the driving school area. James was too little to actually drive a car, but he found this one and didn’t want to leave.

The kids helped build this Halloween ghost. Everyone at the park got to help put together pieces at a little station and the kids were excited to see the whole thing completed at the end of the day.

Oliver got this sweet pirate hat and a little lego set at the lego store. The hat was for James, but Oliver was super excited to borrow it.
Oliver has a Chima set and he was excited to meet Lionel. He reads the little Chima comics in his Lego Club magazine, so it was fun to meet a real lego character. James thought he seemed a little scary.

We went on the chima ride and got really, really wet. Then James discovered this crocodile chima guy and he was so excited about it for some reason. It took a long time to get him to leave.

This is just so funny to me that the girl legos are not people dressed up as a character, they are just pretty girls with wigs. She doesn’t really look like a lego to me… But Elora was still excited because she has some lego friends sets and thought it was fun to meet a lego friend. Marion hid out of sight and wouldn’t come meet any characters.

We got to meet Emmet again, and the kids were really excited about it. Especially James. He didn’t want to leave.

Marion was not interested in meeting any characters, but “Emma” won her over by introducing her to this cute lego cat. Marion came over to pet the cat.

James kept coming back in to meet Emmett and he really didn’t want to go. When I finally picked him up to carry him out he started crying and reaching out with his arms shouting “Emmett! Emmett!” It was simultaneously adorable and embarrassing. He really does love Emmett. This was our favorite park of the trip, the kids all really had a great time here, I am so glad we decided to come.
