Earlier this year we took the kids to a Dinosaur Spectacular festival in St. George. We were excited to see the life-like models of dinosaurs. James was pretty interested in the whole thing. I wasn’t sure if he would get scared, but he didn’t, he just loved looking around.
Marion LOVES scary things, and she loved all the dinosaurs that were roaring at her.
I think she would have enjoyed just looking at the dinosaurs the whole time.
Chris and the kids near the scary T-Rex. At this point the kids realized there were bounce houses and they were really excited to go check them out.
There were little dinosaurs the kids could sit on. Oliver really like this part. James enjoyed looking at them all, but wasn’t too sure about sitting on them.
Elora got a kick out of putting her head inside a scary dinosaur’s mouth.
The Dinosaur Spectacular is mostly advertised as having a great exhibit of life-like animatronic dinosaurs, but really it was a big bounce house festival with a few dinos. The kids had a great time bouncing in the bounce houses, but I wish there had been more exhibits to look at.
Elora was really sweet and took James with her on the bounce house slides. She is a great big sister.
There were dinosaurs you could ride which was pretty fun. James was a little scared because Chris was pretending that it could eat his hands.
Marion loved riding a dinosaur. There was also a big sand area where the kids could dig for fossils and Elora took a little quiz about dinosaurs and won a prize. We had a really fun day with the kids. They all love dinosaurs, and ever since James has loved his dinosaur jammies best of all!
