For Chris’ birthday he opted for profiteroles instead of a cake. My dad picked up a question mark candle, which we all thought was funny and I was glad not to have to put 33 candles in my pretty profiteroles! Marion helped Chris blow out his candle.
James enjoyed his dessert, and just decided to kick back with his feet on the table while he ate. Silly boy.
Time for presents!
Elora was super excited to see bubble wrap inside the box. Kids are so funny. I think I should just get a big box of bubble wrap for the kids on the next holiday.
Chris got chocolates from my parents. They were pretty tasty. Chris isn’t much into parties, but he does love dessert, so it was fun to have some profiteroles to celebrate this special guy’s special day. Chris, you are a great dad, a great husband, and my best friend. Thanks for being hard working, spiritual, wise, and funny. We are grateful for every minute we spend with you, and miss you now that you travel so much. Sorry you don’t get many gifts, but I know you enjoy the ones you buy for yourself the most anyway 🙂 This year Chris’ gift to himself was supplies to plant a vineyard in the backyard. Happy Birthday!
