So somewhere along the line we completely forgot to blog about some big events this summer. So here is some back blogging from last year:
Marion loves to cook, so she grabs other people’s aprons and climbs on her stool to help. Here she is grinding some cheese.
And weighing some cheese…
Chris’ Uncle Bill and Cousin Jordan came out to go backpacking in Zion. We couldn’t hike with them because we were about to leave for Hawaii, but they came over for dinner. Chris taught Jordan how to flip pizza dough. It was great to see them! Hopefully the next time we will be able to go hiking too.
Elora did great at swim lessons last summer. She really learned how to swim on her own and now she absolutely loves the water.

Oliver was still a bit timid about getting his face wet, but he actually did it a few times (on his own terms…) He still loved his lessons though and really enjoyed being in the water.
What a cute little goober.
He loved jumping in the pool (but always asked his teachers not to dunk him!) He has gotten much braver since then, so it will be fun to see how the lessons go this year!
