One morning while Chris was working we walked down to Paradise Cove. We found this awesome rocky beach which had little tide pools. A great place for exploring, and beautiful scenery too.
We found a spot were a bunch of salt had dried inside of holes in the rocks. It made the rocks sparkly. Marion would cheer and yell, “salt!” every time she found it, and Oliver decided to have a taste.
Marion has a toy octopus that she loves. She brought it with her and spent time burying it in the sand so she could find it again. Here she is lovingly cradling her octopus after finding him hiding in the sand. Funny girl!
