Another random collection of pictures of my favorite kids. Here is Elora hanging out with James in Brian Head. This little boy loves his big sister. She can always make him smile and laugh. As it turns out, James loves Dirty Teddy too, but that is because he wants to chew on him.
I love that happy face! James is such a sweet, happy, smiling boy. He brings so much happiness into our home.
Winnie the Pooh loves the car too. Marion likes to make sure Winnie the Pooh gets a turn using all the fun baby toys in the house.
We have been reading The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe to the kids. When we finished, Marion sat down and started “reading” too.
Oliver asked me to print him a coloring page, and he chose a Star Wars Angry Birds Storm trooper pig. He has been learning to use scissors the past few months, and is getting quite good with them.
We went to barbie.com and explored some of the games on there. It is actually a pretty fun website and Elora chose some fairy coloring pages. She colored this one for Daddy when he was on a business trip.
One rainy day the UPS man had to deliver about ten really heavy boxes for Chris’ work, so they loaded them out of the UPS truck and into the work truck. He comes to our house about 4 days a week (or more…) and he is a super nice guy. The kids all get really excited when the UPS man comes. Marion got her rain boots and rain coat and went out to meet him.
And then she stayed to play in the “river” that runs across our driveway. She loves water! She also loves her rain boots and coat.
Here is Elora at school. She writes in a journal every day and loves to read it and show it to every one. So if you come to my house, just be aware that Elora will ask you to look at every single page in her journal.
This was a really fun day at home school. Oliver was cutting out raindrops while Marion glued them to her paper and colored them.
Elora joined int he fun and colored some of the rain drops a little more fancy. The kids had a great time working together. We were learning about weather and charting the weather every day, and the kids really enjoyed going outside every morning and checking the thermometer. It is great to be around the kids because it is fun to see how excited they are to learn about new things.
Elora’s friend Shayne came over to play and they had a lot of fun wearing aprons and chef hats while we made cookies.
Elora saw a picture in a magazine of little lunches that made pictures and she asked me to make this puppy lunch for her.
Here is Oliver in his newest costume. Auntie Sharon bought it for him at a yard sale and he loves it. He asks me if he can go to space, and says, “I have a space suit, can we build a rocket? I would really like to see what the moon looks like!” He is also on a Buzz Lightyear kick, so sometimes he pretends to be a Space Ranger. It is always interesting waiting to see who will “visit” our house every day. Buzz Lightyear? Peter Pan? Captain Hook? Batman? With Oliver, you just never know…
