Our friends Peter and Beate from Vienna came to visit us in Brian Head with their adorable little baby Nora. To celebrate the occasion, Chris and Peter built a massive sled run behind our condo. The snow was REALLY deep.

Then Peter pushed Elora and Oliver down the run on their sleds. After a couple times pushing kids down the run it turned out pretty well and the kids had a great time sledding down the huge run. Nora even had her first sled run while Peter had her in a baby carrier.
Marion never wants to sled, she always wants to “walk in the snow!” Here she is walking down the sled run. I hung out on the balcony with Beate watching the kids sled. This view is from our balcony.
The kids had a great time. I am always amazed at how long they will sled, hike up the huge hill, sled, hike, sled… they are getting pretty tough! So fun to play in all this snow.

I love looking at the view out the back of our condo. The mountain is so beautiful, especially after a big storm when there is tons of snow and icicles hanging from the trees. We are sad we only got to have a short visit with Peter and Beate because our kids had been sick, but so happy they could come for a short visit so we could meet little Nora. We are already looking forward to next year’s visit!
