We watched an episode of Blue’s Clues where Blue wanted to make ice cream sandwiches for dessert. The kids thought this sounded delicious, so we baked oatmeal cookies, made homemade ice cream, and made dessert!

At first Marion didn’t want an ice cream sandwich, just ice cream. So I dished up a bowl of ice cream for her and sat down to eat my dessert.
