Fall Leaves

Nana is here visiting us to help with the baby while Chris is away. She very kindly raked up our leaves into a nice big pile. And then the kids came out to run and dive in it!!! They had a really great time. Elora has been asking to rake up the leaves for jumping all week, and was SO excited to get to come out and play.
I don’t know what to say except I had to put up a few pictures because the kids look so happy! It was nice to spend some time outside with them too. I have been doing the Apple Festival and recovering from childbirth, and this was a fun day because I got to spend some time with my big kids.
I really love fall. I think fall leaves are so fun and so beautiful. Elora thinks so too.
Oliver was not as interested until we raked the leaves into a VERY tall pile and then he ran and jumped right in.
The kids played together in the leaves for a long time. It is a beautiful sunny October in Glendale this year, and we are definitely enjoying this. I hope we get a long fall so we can enjoy these fun leaves for awhile longer!
The pile got pretty tall, Oliver’s legs disappeared šŸ™‚
Oliver liked raking almost as much as jumping, so after every few jumps he would get the rake and we would pile the leaves up super high again. Eventually he left to go fly his spaceship. We will have to wait a few days to make a new pile. Luckily we have some awesome huge trees in our front yard, so I think we will get to play this game again!
