We love the Science Museum near my parents house. We always make a trip there when we are visiting. This time the main floor had lots of hands on experiments dealing with types of motion. Elora liked this one where you got to drop a marble and see how it bounced.
Elora and grandma built an arch with the blocks. Grandma is a pro at building without making the arch fall down.
Oliver found this exhibit where the air makes the beach ball float. He had a great time and we loved how his hair looked after he discovered he could make the air blow in his direction.
WOW! Look at that! There were two of these, and once we got him away from the first one, he found the next exhibit with the blowing air and got to play some more.
You can’t see in the picture how this one works, but when you spin the wheel and pluck the strings, the strings make waves. Oliver was saying. “whoa!!!!” He thought it was pretty neat and I loved the expression on his face. It is great to let the kids explore, and fun to explain how all the exhibits work.
