This summer we spent a couple weeks in California at Grandma and Grandpa’s house. Here was one of the favorite activities:
I tried to explain to Oliver how to slide on the Slip N’ Slide, but he didn’t really get it… He just likes running around and getting a little wet.
There was a fun little blow up boat to slide on, and he thought it was fun to lay on it…
It looks like he is sliding here, but he is actually just pulling himself along with his arms…
And he sort of figured out he was supposed to jump into the puddle at the end…
Oliver had a great time though and that is all that really matters!
Elora also LOVED the Slip N’ Slide and figured out pretty quick how she liked to slide.

Elora really loves water, so this was a great way to spend summer afternoons for her.
Another graceful slide from Elora. She is so cute. I love seeing how excited she gets to play.
And Marion? She liked to use the Slip N’ Slide as a drinking fountain and hang out riding on the back of the deer lawn statue. She called it a horsie and kept trying to ride it. Funny girl.
