Here are some pictures of our sweet little Marion. She grows both sweeter and more feisty by the day, which keeps our life VERY interesting.
She LOVES her Teddy that Elora gave her for Christmas, and has learned to say “Teddy” when she wants her bear. She also loves bears in general, and will often pick out pictures of bears in books and say “Bear!!!” Conversing with Marion in interesting, because she actually talks quite a bit and gets VERY angry if you don’t know what she is saying. You can’t just nod your head and say, “Oh, okay!” or she yells at you until you repeat back to her what she is saying. She just wants to make sure we are using good communicating skills so she knows she is being understood.
Look at that cute face! When she pulls out the sweet smile, she gets whatever she wants.
Marion loves shoes, and can ALWAYS be found wearing someone else’s shoes and walking around the house. I was trying to sort out the kids shoes and find all the proper sizes for the summer when Marion picked out these pretty dress shoes and started wearing them all around.
And since Daddy talks on the phone a lot at work, Marion can often be found trying to call him on the phone and saying, “Daddy… DADDY!!!! HI!!!!” At least we know what the future holds with this one – lots of shoes and time on the phone…
I can’t believe she is already one and a half. Where does the time go?!?!?! And just so I will always remember, her favorite things besides shoes and the phone are bugs. We have to watch her carefully, because she will try to pick up any bug she finds. She also LOVES to read, to climb, to help cook, play in the water (and mud), sit on the lawn mower while pretending to drive, play in the sandbox, and to follow daddy around when he does yard work.
