We got out the trash bags and paint a couple weeks ago and went outside to make some masterpieces. The kids love to paint and haven’t gotten to paint much since we got back to Utah. I guess I like my table here better than the one in Vienna because I feel hesitant to let them paint inside!
Elora excitedly showing me her painting. She is quite the artist and loves to create and experiment with mixing colors. It is always fun to hear her stories about the pictures she makes.
And as always with Oliver, painting eventually turned to finger (hand?) painting. The wind started blowing some leaves down off the trees. It looked like it was raining leaves. I told the kids that maybe the leaves were so excited about their pictures that they wanted to come down and have a closer look! So we started picking up different colored leaves to add to the paintings. I love hanging out with Oliver and Elora, they are so fun.
Oliver was quite pleased with himself. I was impressed with how many pictures he painted before he got bored… I guess we need to have more art sessions, he was really into this!
I don’t know what I did to deserve such awesome little people in my life, but I am so glad that I have them! I am so grateful that Elora and Oliver are friends and have such a great time together. It reminds me of my house growing up.
And here is our new art gallery. Marion also did a little painting but I couldn’t get any pictures. It was too scary to let her run loose with paint everywhere! We made this little art gallery to surprise Chris when he came home from Florida. The kids were SO PROUD of their art work on the wall. Even Marion giggles and points to her painting when we are sitting at dinner.
