Chris got some cheap tickets to a circus up in Orem on groupon.com. Our kids loved the circus in Vienna, so we took a little road trip up north so the kids could see another circus. Marion loved seeing the animals. There was a little petting zoo set up before the circus, and she really liked trying to pet the llamas and goats.

This was Elora’s favorite act in the circus. “The really strong girl” was pretty amazing with the shooting arrows with her toes trick.
Oliver really likes elephants and was excited to see one. They had elephant rides too, but they were $10 so we skipped on that.
After the circus we went to the Spaghetti Factory for dinner. Always a big hit with the kids since they serve macaroni and cheese and ice cream! Okay, I’ll admit it. We really went there because I love it and the one in Orem is the closest one to my house. Sigh.

Marion had a great time sitting with Daddy and playing with water and straws.
She’s pretty cute. Then it was back to the hotel where we got to enjoy going to sleep at 8:00 in hopes that the kids would also sleep. I think Elora chose five different locations on the floor to sleep before I finally told her to stop moving and go to sleep!!!! Breakfast at the hotel was a hit because they served waffles. Then it was back in the car for the drive home. A short trip, but it was nice to take the kids on a little road trip especially since Chris travels a lot this time of year. The kids liked having some time to hang out with Daddy.
