Still finishing up our California posting! For those who don’t know, Marion walks now. Crazy baby. And she likes getting into everything. The sand table made her very happy. She liked the shovels… and eating sand.
While at my parents house, my friend Monica from high school came over to visit. This is how excited Elora was. She loves Monica’s girls, and the kids all had such a great time playing together.
Here is Monica super-mom with the babies while I prepared a fancy meal of hot dogs for everyone.
And after dinner Chris made waffle cones for the kids so they could have homemade Drumsticks. I think they really enjoyed that part! Left to right: Miriam, Elora, Oliver, Brynn.
They were just so cute while eating their ice cream. Smiles and giggles all around.
Here is Elora and Miriam being silly. These two girls are so funny when they play, I think this was the happiest play-date I have ever experienced.

Me and Monica together with the little ones. Marion and Kayla are just a few months apart. I love that Monica lives sort of close to my parents so that we can get together when I come down to visit. The kids just played the whole time, so we got to sit outside in the beautiful weather and chat the whole time. So nice. Elora loved having little girls to play with, and luckily Oliver is happy to tag along. He just loves kids and friends in general, so everyone had a great time!
