Elora likes celebrating Dirty Teddy’s birthday. We celebrate at least twice a month. She got a new book called Fancy Nancy Tea Parties which had all sorts of cute ideas for having a fancy tea party and Elora was so excited to try them all out for Teddy’s birthday.Elora made little name placards for everyone’s seat. Here she is proudly holding Dirty Teddy’s name she wrote all by herself. The little placards were cute, with a lollypop, marshmallow, and Elora wrote everyone’s names.Dirty Teddy had a special placemat and silverware that Elora had decorated with glitter, beads, and we used doilies for plates. We made special pink lemonade, had some snacks and sang Happy Birthday to Teddy. It was a great party!Oliver came to me the next day and announced that it was his Teddy’s birthday! So we made some rice crispie treats, put in some candles (his Teddy is 3 just like Oliver!) and we sang to Teddy!Oliver was so happy! Teddy parties are a great way to spend the afternoon.
Yay – Teddy parties look so fun! Bijou and I wish we could have one with you.
