Okay, so this is another oldie but goodie blog post, but I will post it anyway. Back in December I headed over to church with Elora and Oliver so that I could get together with some great ladies and make Vanilla Kipferl which are traditional cookies in Austria to make around the holidays.
Elora was very proud of herself for using a knife just like the moms.
They are cute little moon shaped cookies, and if I had known how easy they are to make, I would have learned ages ago!
Oliver was almost as excited about the cookies as he was about the dough!
It is amazing how many people we fit into the church kitchen. I am glad I got to go learn how to make a fun easy recipe that I can use to remind me of Austria after I go home to the states. Whenever I see these little moon shape cookies, it just feels like Christmas in Vienna.
